Gwen Barker:
|
The founder of Logenii, is a human resource consultant and practitioner addressing the human resource needs of organizations.
|
Although the focus of her work is with IT organizations, Gwen delivers results for various functions
in an organization in these areas: |
- Competency model, job structure (job families, job title/descriptions and associated compensation leveling)
- Work analysis, skills and motivational assessment at the organizational level, workgroup level and individual level
- HR baseline assessment and associated HR transformation for a function (IT, Finance, etc.)
- Surveys and research on HR issues, organizational structures and new practices
- IT outsource client advocate through RFP, vendor selection and transition with focus on impacted and retained staff
- HR processes evaluation and improvement

20+ years experience as individual contributor and in IT management capacities in several industries and technical environments
10+ years experience as an HR generalist and HR project manager
5+ years experience in the HR components of IT outsourcing projects
Numerous client experiences from Fortune 500 to Fortune 50 IT organizations
Exposure to challenges and practices of IT organizations as founder of Twin Cities HR/IT Forum (1999), a quarterly gathering of regional HR & IT leaders
