Logenii's Research Approach:
- Identify the core question(s) being asked that have underlying HR implications for the I/T staff.
- Establish timeframe and approach for the research.
- If a survey is needed for gathering information, establish the cross-section of companies by size,
industry to be included.
- Identify other sources of information for the research.
- Identify the minimum outcome reporting necessary.
- Conduct the research and, if needed, distribute a survey. Analyze the data and prepare results.
- Share results with both management and associates.
- Develop and implement a plan to address identified needs.

Attracting and retaining staff had become critical and the HR staff of a 1000 person I/T group wanted to know what
compensation options beyond base pay, domestically, were being used by other I/T organizations.
Service:
Created a survey to gather non-salary information on compensation in hiring/promotion.
Conducted research with compensation companies, information services to augment the survey.
Surveyed a network of Fortune 500 companies across the US. Results have been used to position some
compensation choices with top client management. The results were also shared with all participants within 1 month
of their participation for immediate use and without breach of confidentiality.
